EMSense 40 Image

The EMSense™ 40 from ETS-Lindgren is an Electric Field Probe that operates from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. It has a dynamic range from 1 to 1000 V/m, a resolution of 0.1 V/m (from 100 to 1000 V/m), and can read data continuously over the entire dynamic range. This probe has a three-axis dipole design with a maximum measurement speed of 100 measurements/second (X, Y, Z & ETot). It features A2LA accredited calibration and is ideal for various military, commercial and automotive specifications.

The EMSense™ 40 utilizes an updated CPU in the EMCenter to support its improved communication speed. Fiber optic signal and power lines link the RF field probe to either the EMCenter 2/7 slot or as a direct connect to a PC USB port with the EMCenter 1-slot. A USB connection to the PC allows for quick and easy data collection, using ProbeView V software. This probe is suitable for MIL-STD 461F radiated susceptibility (RS) MIL standard specification and EN/IEC 61000-4-3 radiated immunity commercial specification. It is also suitable for SAE J1113/27, GMW 3091/3097/3103, and FORD FMC 1278 automotive specifications. The probe is available in a housing that measures 30 cm (L) x 1.5 cm (tube diameter).
