The NGX1000 Series from Boonton are Programmable Noise Generators that operate from 10 MHz to 3 GHz. They generate additive white gaussian noise (AWGN) with an output power of 0/+10 dBm and have a noise attenuation range from 0 to 127 dB in 0.1 dB steps. These noise generators can be controlled manually via a 5-inch touchscreen display or remotely via Ethernet. They feature a streamlined user interface and flat menu structure which provides a fast, simple way to add RF noise in a communications system. The noise generators are available in housings that measure 11.2 x 8.3 x 3.5 inches with N-type (female) connectors and are ideal for use in semiconductor, military, aerospace, satellite, medical and communications applications.
