The NW-70-CNG from NoiseWave is a White Gaussian Noise Generator that operates from 50 to 90 MHz. This device improves the speed and accuracy of BER testing by automatically setting precise, stable, SNR (signal-to-noise), CNR (carrier-to-noise), and Eb/No ratios for a user supplied signal. It has a maximum attenuation range of 60 dB in 0.1 dB steps. The NW-70-CNG is available in a rack mount module that measures 17 x 5.25 x 20 inches and is ideal for IF testing and broadcast applications. It can be controlled manually for engineering and laboratory testing or remotely via GPIB or Ethernet for automated production testing.
