The CNS series of silicon IMPATT diode based solid state noise sources operate from 26.5 to 140 GHz. They are available in seven waveguide bands. These noise sources have an ENR from 12 to 15 dB with a flatness of 1.5 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.4:1. They require a supply voltage of 28 VDC while consuming 60 mA of current via a BNC (F) connector. These noise sources can work in either CW or pulse AM operation modes. The AM modulation mode is triggered by a TTL control signal via an SMA (F) connector. These noise sources are ideal for applications in test labs, instrumentations and radiometric systems. They are equipped with a standard waveguide interface.
