The HD-B16xxx from R&D Microwaves is a Hybrid Combiner for Public Safety Bands from 450 to 2700 MHz. This unique combiner allows for unequal power combining in the low frequency UHF band. It provides a 2 dB insertion loss through one path and 4 dB in the second path with 35 dB isolation between ports. This IP67-rated coupler provides 3.1/4.4 dB of coupling. It allows higher power transmitters to combine equally with a lower power transmitter. Optional external loads are available in a wide range of power levels, if needed, for 1x2 or 2x1 applications.
This coupler can handle up to 200 W of CW input power and has a VSWR of less than 1.12:1. It is available in a connectorized module with N-type connectors. This coupler is suitable for applications that require low PIM.
