The SC1220AT2 from Socionext is a 60 GHz CMOS Radar Sensor for 3D motion sensing. It has 2 Tx and 2 x 2 Rx antennas that detect azimuth/elevation angle, velocity, and distance with a Tx frequency from 57.1 to 63.9 GHz and an Rx noise figure of 12 dB. The sensor supports FMCW/FSKCW/CW radar modes along with 4-level operation states (Shutdown, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, Sensing). It requires a 1.5 to 3.3 V power supply and consumes up to 308 mW power (2.5 mW in deep sleep mode). The sensor is available in a 7 x 7 mm LGA package and has integrated antennas, radio, ADC, FIFO, and SPI interface.
