The Si4703 from Silicon Labs is a FM Radio Receiver IC that supports worldwide FM band from 76 MHz to 108 MHz with seek tuning. It extends Silicon Labs’ Si4700/01 FM tuner family and increases the ease of adding FM radio reception to mobile devices through small size and board area. It can be used in cellular handsets, USB FM radio, portable navigation, MP3 players, PDAs, portable radios and notebook PCs. This IC has an excellent overload immunity and adaptive noise suppression with volume control. It requires a supply from 2.7V to 5.5V and has a 2-wire and 3-wire control interface. It is available in a 20-pin QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm.
