The SAX248 from NewEdge Signal Solutions is a tunable bandpass filter that operates from 30 to 88 MHz with a resolution of 0.5 MHz. It has an insertion loss of less than 4.5 dB and an upper/lower stopband rejection of more than 15/20 dBc. The filter can handle up to 33 dBm of power. It has been designed for Tactical Communications Applications using binary weighted digital tunable capacitor arrays to cover greater than an octave bandwidth. The filter is available in a module that measures 1.2 x 0.65 x 0.25 inches with SPI communication interface and is ideal for tactical communications applications.
