The BPF 1.6-30 from Amphenol Procom is an LC Band Pass Filter with a passband from 1.6 to 30 MHz. It can handle up to 15 W of input power while having an insertion loss of less than 2 dB. This amplifier has a rejection attenuation of 30 dB from DC to 1.3 MHz and 50 to 300 MHz with a VSWR of 1.5:1. It has a series coupled high/low pass filter design and Chebychev characteristic that ensure a low insertion loss and high out-of-band rejection.
The BPF 1.6-30 is available is a miniature box that measures 48 x 50 mm with FME-male connectors on both ports and dual adhesive pad for quick installation. It can be used for applications such as a pre-selector filter to protect a receiver against interferences from transmitters outside the bandpass range and as a transmitter filter to prevent out-of-band & harmonics radiation.
