The 6DF4-2500/500-M from Smiths Interconnect is a Bandpass Filter with a center frequency of 2500 MHz. It has 3 dB passband bandwidth of 500 MHz, a passband insertion loss of less than 0.90 dB and provides an out-of-band rejection of more than 60 dBc (at 3500 MHz). This filter can handle an average power of 1 W. It uses a rigorous design, manufacturing and inspection criteria processes and procedures to ensure the filter is fully compliant to unique customer specifications. The filter is available in a ceramic surface-mount package that measures 29.8 x 12.7 mm and is ideal for military, radar, commercial aerospace, UAV, test and instrument, communication, and GPS applications.
The 6DF4-2500/500-M ceramic Filters are manufactured in two basic styles for both commercial and military applications. The high-volume, cost-effective units in open frame, non-hermetic packages are designed for commercial applications. The lower volume, custom designed hermetic packages are ideal for use in military applications. Both styles use the same high “Q” coaxial resonators which yield low insertion loss and excellent stability over temperature.
