The FWM7BTZ61 from Fujitsu is a Dual Mode Bluetooth 5.0 Module which is compatible with both Bluetooth low energy and Bluetooth classic BR/EDR modes. The symbol rate and data rate accommodate both 1 Mbps and improved 2 Mbps to facilitate communication speeds with other Bluetooth Low Energy devices. The classic mode supports a data rate of 1 Mbps (BR: basic rate) and 2 - 3 Mbps (EDR: Enhanced Data Rate) with output power up to 4 dBm.
This module is based on Cypress Semiconductor's CYW20819 SoC. It requires a DC voltage from 1.71 to 3.63 V. The module supports UART interfaces and can be connected to the Apple Authentication 3.0 Co-processor ("Auth. 3.0 CP") to send and receive data with application software on iOS devices. It measures 17.6 x 10.6 x 1.9 mm with an integrated pattern antenna.
