The AIROC™ CYW54591 from Infineon is a 2x2 Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) + Bluetooth® 5.1 Combo Chip that operates in 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. It supports two concurrent data streams. In IEEE 802.11ac mode it supports up to 256 QAM with 20 MHz, 40 MHz, and 80 MHz channels for data rates up to 867 Mbps. It has an internal PA and LNA with support for external ones as well. This chip is Bluetooth® 5.1 Ready and supports AoA/AoD. It also supports Bluetooth® LE-2Mbps, LE-Long Range, LE-advertising extensions, and slot availability masks. The chipset is available in a 194-ball WLBGA package that measures 5.16 x 7.7 mm and is suitable for use in IoT, gateways, smart speakers, audio, printers, DTV, and IP cameras.
