The iM282A-L is a compact, low power, bi-directional radio module for the unlicensed 2.4 GHz band. It combines a powerful Cortex-M3 controller with Semtech's new ultra long range transceiver - SX1280. This module has been specifically designed for battery operated applications and is able to achieve line of sight transmissions of more than 10 km without the use of any additional amplifiers. This LoRa module provides an output power of up to 12 dBm and has a receive sensitivity of -130 dBm (SF 12; SB 203 kHz, CR 4/6). It is available in a surface mount package that measures 20 x 25 x 3.3 mm and is ideal for IoT, smart cities, long range irrigation systems, home and building automation applications.
