The EC4L15BA1 from KAGA FEI is a Multi-Protocol Bluetooth 5.4 Low Energy (BLE) Module. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Thread, and Matter (Standard 2) protocols. This module consists of a 128 MHz ARM Cortex-M33 processor with a non-volatile memory of 1.5 MB, and 256 KB RAM, helping the module achieve over twice the processing capability of the EC2832AA2. It also includes a nRF54L15 chip from Nordic Semiconductor and achieves a data rate of up to 4 Mbps.
The EC4L15BA1 has a built-in antenna and has obtained Bluetooth qualifications and certifications for Radio Law MIC (Japan), FCC (USA), and ISED (Canada), thereby reducing time and costs to develop next-generation wireless IoT platforms for faster time-to-market. It is available in surface mount packaging that measures 9.6 x 12.9 x 2 mm. This module is ideal for industrial IoT, medical devices, healthcare, smart home, matter, PC accessories and sports/fitness sensor applications.
