The BL654PA from Laird Connectivity is a wireless module that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.1) and NFC. This module is powered by the Nordic nRF52840 Silicon SoC that provides a secure and robust BLE connection and Cortex-M4F CPU for any OEM product design. It has an integrated Power Amplifier from Skyworks that provides an output power of up to 18 dBm. The module provides a data rate up to 2 Mbps and has 46 GPIOs to support 2x UART, 8x ADC, 2x I2C, 4x SPI, 1x QPSI, 2x PDM, 2x I2S and NFC. It offers a complete multi-protocol embedded wireless solution with an exceptional processing capability, all with extended PA / LNA support for Long-range applications. The module provides OEMs with maximum design flexibility and performance. It offers the user with programming options for a simple, intuitive AT Command Set, as well as complete power control with an onboard smart basic FW image. This module is available in an Ultra-small footprint with PCB trace antenna or IPEX MHF4 connectors and measures 22 x 10 x 2.2 mm.
