The PAN1782 from Panasonic is a Bluetooth v5.1 Low Energy (LE) Module. It is based on the Nordic nRF52833 single-chip controller which features a 64 MHz ARM Cortex-M4, 128-bit AES/ECB/CCM/AAR co-processor, embedded 512 kB flash memory and 128 kB internal RAM. The module supports angle of arrival (AOA) & angle of departure (AOD) direction-finding Bluetooth features. It requires a DC supply from 1.7 to 5.5 V, consumes 4.9 mA of current in Tx mode and 4.7 mA of current in Rx mode. This module
The PAN1782 has a built-in temperature sensor, 3 x Real-time counter RTC, watchdog timer and an integrated 32 kHz crystal. It supports LE high-speed PHY, LE long-range coded PHY, LE advertising extensions (advertising on 40 channels total) and LE secure connections Bluetooth protocols. The module uses a new channel selection algorithm (CSA#2) that improves the performance in high-interference environments and allows for much larger amounts of data to be broadcasted in connectionless scenarios. It delivers an LE data rate of up to 2 Mbps with a Tx power of 8 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -103 dBm. This BLE Module can be controlled via USB 2.0, GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, COMP, QDEC, NFC-A, PWM and nRESET interfaces. It is available in a package that measures 15.6 x 8.7 x 2.0 mm.
