The SG885G-WF from Quectel is a Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 Android Smart Module. It is based on Qualcomm's flagship IoT chipset QCS8550, with built-in octa-core high-performance Kryo CPU, Adreno 740 GPU, Adreno 1295 DPU and Adreno 8550 VPU. This module includes 12 GB LPDDR5X memory, 256 GB UFS storage and Spectra ISP. It has a computing power of up to 48 TOPS and a neural processing unit with a security processing unit. It has a video encoder that supports 4K at 120 fps and 8K at 30 fps and a video decoder that supports 4K at 240 fps and 8K at 60 fps. This module supports Hexagon DSP, Hexagon Vector eXtensions (HVX) and Hexagon Matrix eXtensions (HMX). It supports IEEE 802.11be and 2x2 Wi-Fi MIMO.
The SG885G-WF can be controlled via LCM, camera, touch panel, I2S, PCIe, UART, USB, I2C and SPI interfaces. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 49.00 x 51.00 x 4.25 mm and is ideal for industrial & consumer applications requiring high computing power, AI & multimedia functions and M2M applications, including video conference systems, live streaming devices, gaming, edge computing, robots, drones, AR/VR, intelligent retail, and security systems.
