The Blue Gecko BGM111 from Silicon Labs is a bluetooth 4.2 complaint module that integrates a BLE radio with a complete bluetooth smart software stack and an antenna to provide a complete, pre-certified plug-and-play bluetooth smart solution. The module provides a transmit power of up to 8 dBm at 2.4 GHz and a receive sensitivity of -92 dBm with a coverage range of up to 200 meters. It has highly flexible hardware interfaces to connect to different peripherals or sensors. This BLE module measures 13 mm x 15 mm x 2.2 mm and is ideal for IoT sensors, smart phones, home and building automation.
