The BLE121LR is a Bluetooth Smart Long Range module designed for Bluetooth Smart applications. It can transmit up to 8 dBm of power, with a receiver sensitivity of -98 dBm and can provide Bluetooth Smart connectivity up to 450 metres. This module has a Bluetooth radio, software stack and GATT based profiles. It can also host end user applications, which means no external micro controller is required. It has a relatively low power consumption and can be powered using a standard 3 V coin cell battery.
