The SPWF01SA intelligent WiFi module from STMicroelectronics is a plug and play and standalone 802.11 b/g/n solution that easily integrates wireless internet connectivity into existing or new products. This module is configured around a single-chip 802.11 transceiver with integrated PA and an STM32 32-bit microcontroller with an extensive GPIO suite. It has a transmit power of 18.3 dBm at 1 Mbps DSSS and Rx sensitivity of -96 dBm at 1 Mbps DSSS. It is available with an embedded micro 2.45 GHz ISM band antenna. It can be used in smart appliances, home automation and security systems, wireless sensors, medical equipment and machine-to-machine communication applications.
