The PSR-78-8527-PKG from ADRF is a Public Safety Repeater that operates in the 700/800 MHz bands (Downlink: 758 – 776/851 – 869 MHz; Uplink: 788 – 824 MHz). It is designed to protect the lives of first responders and building occupants. This repeater produces a composite output power of up to 27 dBm with a gain of 55-85 dB. It uses digital signal processing (DSP) filter technology to eliminate adjacent channel interference and allows band selectivity and support for 700 MHz and 800 MHz Public Safety frequencies including Band 14. The repeater supports up to two non-contiguous wideband filters in the 700 MHz and up to two non-contiguous wideband filters in the 800MHz Public Safety frequencies. It has an included PSR-ANN-L annunciator to provide visual and audible alarms with an option to extend up to 1000 ft.
The PSR-78-8527-PKG can handle an input power of 10 dBm, has a noise figure of less than 7 dB, and has a spurious level compliant to FCC rules. It requires an AC supply from 110-240 V and consumes under 130 W of power. This repeater is available in an IP66-rated compact module that measures 10.13 x 7.56 x 19.7 mm with 4.3-10 and SMA-female connectors.
