The Lighthouse™ Smart Repeater from Airgain operates from 3300 to 4000 MHz covering 5G NR Band n77. This high-power outdoor smart repeater is compliant with 3GPP TS 38.106 and can extend cell coverage by improving uplink and downlink signal power and offers a flexible design with unique smart features. It supports channelization which allows the operator to amplify the desired signal and filter out the rest and includes automated features such as TDD detection, gain control, and echo cancellation creating excellent signal quality stability. This unique design offers up to 200 MHz instantaneous bandwidth with different carrier aggregation and MIMO options (4CA SISO 10~50 MHz, 2CA 2x2 MIMO 10~100 MHz). It can operate on both AC and DC supply and includes RSSI overpower and RSSI underpower automatic shutdown functions.
The Lighthouse repeater delivers an output power of 27 dBm with a gain of up to 65 dB (in 1 dB steps) in both uplink and downlink directions and supports manual or auto gain control. It has an uplink noise figure of less than 6 dB and a VSWR of 1.8:1. This repeater supports local and remote control. It is available in an enclosure that measures 400 x 380 x 100 mm with 4.3-10 (female) connectors and has an optional built-in smart donor antenna with beam-switching capability to ease installation.
