The DF14 Series from Fiplex are VHF & UHF Digital Signal Boosters that operate in VHF (136-174 MHz) and UHF (450 - 512 MHz) bands. They have 32 channels per band with 2 bandwidth adjustable filters per band. These FPGA-based boosters provide up to 85 dB of gain with a manual gain control range of 30 dB range which is digitally controlled in 1 dB steps. They are software programmable and have an in-built microprocessor-based self-diagnostic platform and alarms for amplifiers status, power amplifiers status, power supply failure, battery backup failure, temperature, AGC, RF overload, and poor antenna isolation. These signal boosters can operate over both AC and DC supply and consume 140 W of power.
The DF14 Series signal boosters have built-in spectrum analyzers and are compatible with standards such as P25 Phase 1 and 2, TETRA, TETRAPOL, NXDN, DMR, Conventional, MPT1327, among others. They are available in NEMA4-housing that measures 30 x 24 x 16 inches with N-type (female) connectors. These signal boosters can be wall-mounted and are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. For indoor use, it can be used in tunnels and mobile fast-deploy communication units while for outdoors applications it is ideal for oil rigs, stadiums, dense urban areas, rural areas, and cliffs communication units.
