The MS2840A is a spectrum/signal analyzer from Anritsu that operates from 9 kHz to 3.6/6/26.5/44.5 GHz. The analyzer supports measurements across a wide frequency band ranging from applications such as microwave wireless backhaul, requiring high phase-noise performance to measure transmitter carrier close-in spurious, to VHF/UHF private mobile radio (PMR).
It eliminates image-response effects at wideband signal measurements and supports millimeter-wave wideband wireless applications, such as wireless backhaul, automobile radar, WiGig, etc. The analyzer has an excellent dynamic range using high-performance waveguide mixer MA2806A/MA2808A, a DANL of -153 dBm and an SSB phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz (@ 1 GHz, 10-kHz offset). The spectrum measurements up to 325 GHz are supported by connecting the External Mixer (Harmonic Mixer) MA27xxC series.
