The DRS8500X from Wideband Systems is a Digital Recording System (DRS) for Telemetry Applications. It provides exceptional bandwidth and scalability while maintaining strict compliance with the IRIG-106 Chapter 10 standard. The recorder supports IRIG-A, IRIG-B, & IRIG-G, external 1PPS & 10 MHz references, and optional NASA 36 timing interfaces. It can record and playback at sustained rates of 4800+ Mbits per second and has a storage capacity of up to 19.2 TB (Solid-state or Rotary Disk Drives). This flexible series of disk-based recorders can be ordered with a variety of interfaces and control options tailored to meet most any requirement. It accepts up to seven user-installable and upgradeable Interface Boards (IFBs) and provides extensive support for a wide range of telemetry applications.
Additional features include data export and monitoring while recording, two removable disk banks (up to 2.4TB/bank with solid-state or hard disk drives, flexible recording modes (striped, mirrored, or sequential), IRIG-A/B/G & NASA 36 External 1PPS and 10MHz timing references, and Gigabit Ethernet networking. This flexible series of disk-based recorders can be ordered with a variety of interfaces and control options tailored to meet most any requirement.
