The SensArray Core from SensThys is an EPIC Native RAIN RFID Reader that operates from 865.6-867.6 MHz and 902-928 MHz. It has 50/4 hopping channels and channel spacing of 500/600 kHz with a channel dwell time of 0.4 s. The reader has an internal 8.5 dBic right-hand circular antenna, 3 additional antenna ports (allowing 4 antenna systems), and a 4 in/4-out 30W powered (optically isolated) GPIO subsystem. It supports PR-ASK and DB-ASK modulation techniques. This RFID reader consumes less than 13 W of power through a 30/90 W PoE+ interface and can be controlled via an RF-45 (TCP/IP) interface.

The SensArray Core supports EPC Class 1 Gen 2v2 and 18000 – 6C/63 reader protocols. It is available in a module that measures 25.4 x 25.4 x 20 cm and has a VESA 100 mm studded bracket for mounting purposes. The reader is ideal for use in high-end doctor's offices to warehouses where minimizing protruding objects is important.
