The Softight W5RL from Fujitsu is a UHF RFID Tag designed for superior performance and durability for flat linen applications. This rugged tag can withstand high-pressure extractors, industrial washing and drying, and rugged environments without losing performance, all in a cost-effective package. It can withstand 200 wash cycles and is chemically resistant to standard detergent, softener, bleach (Oxygen/ Chlorine), Alkali, and acetic/peracetic acid. The tag can assist commercial and industrial laundries to enhance asset tracking processes and improve efficiency for sorting and tracking flat linen items such as towels, sheets, and pillowcases. It meets the ISO/IEC 18000-63 (EPC Gen2) RFID standard and has a read range of up to 400 cm (902 – 928 MHz). The Softight W5RL RFID tag is available in packages that measure 59.5 x 6.5 x 2.4 mm and can be directly sewn into the hem or seam of linen items.
