The DS004342-01 from Omni-ID is a battery-free RFID Tag with a built-in temperature sensor. It operates from 866-868 MHz (EU) and 902-928 MHz (US). This RFID tag has a read range of up to 3.5 m (Fixed reader) and up to 2 m (Handheld reader). It has an EPC and user memory of 128 bits, and a TID memory of 64 bits.
The EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 qualified RFID tag measures 13.1 × 8.05 × 3.1 mm, including the IC bump. It is suitable for equipment monitoring in-house or in transit, data centres and metal it assets – both in terms of tracking and temperature monitoring, embedding the tag into metal components, and monitoring mechanical plants.
