The EMX-1 (P/N: AST1-082-0001) from Vizinex is a UHF (902-928 MHz) RFID Tag intended for use in indoor environments. It can be used on both metal and non-metal surfaces with a read range of up to 15 feet @ at 36 dBm ERP using an enterprise reader or a Motorola 9190 handheld reader. The tag has an EPC memory of 96-bit and a user memory of 512-bit.
The EMX-1 is based on the Alien Higgs EC IC platform and is available with Vizinex’s full-service bureau for maximum labeling, encoding, and locking options. The EMX-1 can easily be adapted for applications involving over-molding/over-spraying, embedding in metal or composites, or repetitive high-temperature exposure such as Autoclave service. It offers multi-surface use in a 70 x 17 x 1.8 mm thin package and is available in the US or EU version. This tag finds applications in financial services, healthcare, and academia industries, including devices like IT assets, laptops, and office assets.
