The AR133-03 from AccuBeat is a GPS-Disciplined Rubidium Frequency Oscillator. It has been specifically designed for extreme airborne applications and can be disciplined to external 1 PPS GPS or other GNSS sources with a timing accuracy of ±100 ns and frequency accuracy of better than 5 x 10-11. This oscillator includes a vibration isolator that enables the unit to maintain high-frequency stability and accuracy under vibration as may be experienced in severe environments such as airborne platforms. It also consists of a unique digital frequency lock loop (DFLL) where a high-performance crystal oscillator is locked to the Rubidium atomic line using an embedded microprocessor and a special patented algorithm.
This frequency oscillator requires a DC supply of 15 V and consumes less than 8 W (steady-state) and 16 W (warm-up) of power. It has spurious levels of less than -105 dBc and harmonics of better than -50 dBc. This oscillator is equipped with a built-in test (BIT) that detects more than 95% of all failures and provides the information via the D-type connector open-collector pin. It includes the RS-232 interface for control and monitoring and provides ID, status, and frequency adjustment functionalities. The AR133-03 is available in an enclosure that measures 77.00 x 77.00 x 49.65 mm with SMA connectors and is ideal for C41, secure communications, and ELINT applications.
