The AR51-07 from AccuBeat is a GPS-Disciplined Rubidium Clock that operates in the L1 and L2 GPS bands. It can be phase-locked to the GPS signal or other external inputs with a timing accuracy of ±20 ns (RMS) and a frequency accuracy of ±2 x 10-12. This clock generates outputs that are derived from the Rubidium-Atomic-Standard to maintain accurate time and frequency even when GPS reception is interrupted. It consists of a GPS receiver (C/A code) and includes an option to install a P(Y) code SAASM GPS receiver that is capable of providing Ephemeris, Almanac, and ionospheric data. This clock is ideal for use in military airborne environments like helicopters, UAVs, shipboard, and ground mobile applications.
The AR51-07 requires a DC supply from 22 to 32 V and consumes less than 30 W of power in warm-up mode and 14 W in steady-state mode. It can also support an external power input for backup via the main power inlet. This rubidium clock has spurious levels of less than -75 dBc and phase noise of -149 dBc/Hz (at 10 kHz offset). It includes Have Quick (ICD-GPS-060) input and output, which is essential for secure radio communication applications. This clock is equipped with RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces for control and monitoring, along with graphical user interface (GUI) software for PC.
The AR51-07 is available in a MIL-STD-qualified module that measures 245 x 166 x 56 mm with SMA (female) connectors. It meets the MIL-STD-810C/E standard for mechanical shock, bench-handling shock, rain, dust, and salt atmosphere, and the MIL-STD-461B/C standard for EMI/RFI.
