The ICPT-1 from IQD is a High Stability 10 MHz Rubidium Oscillator. It is designed using the Coherent Population Trap method to obtain an excellent frequency stability of ±0.05 ppb and offers tight tolerance. This oscillator uses a laser to induce quantum transitions which results in a much lower power consumption of up to 2 W along with longer life expectancy. Users have the option to connect either an external 1 PPS input or take the internal clock for a 1 PPS output for synchronization in various applications. The 1PPS signal and frequency adjustment can be controlled via RS-232 data communication interface.
The ICPT-1 is available in a 9-pin through-hole metal case that measures 36 x 45 x 14.5 mm and is ideal for synchronization or as a reference clock in satellite & secure communications, navigation systems, and in financial, utility, security, and communications timing applications.
