The APT-RLNAS from Amplitech is a Redundant Low Noise Amplifier System that operates from 0.95 to 33.0 GHz. It provides a gain of more than 30 dB with a noise figure of less than 8 dB and has an output P1dB of more than +10 dBm. This amplifier provides more than 50 dB of isolation and has an AM/PM conversion of less than 0.5°/dB. It is a 1:1 and 1:2 Redundant Low Noise Amplifier System that is designed to ensure continuous operation with no disruption of the signal transmission. A fault condition to the online low noise amplifier or operator-generated command will switch the standby low noise amplifier to the online position and remove the online low noise amplifier from the signal path.
The APT-RLNAS can be controlled remotely via DEM-9S for RS485 and RS422 interfaces. It requires an AC supply of 90-250 V and consumes 40 W of power. This system is available in a housing that measures 482.6 x 558.8 x 44.5 mm with SMA-female and 3.5 mm RF connectors.
