The ALT-25104 from ETL Systems is a 2+1 redundant amplifier with automatic switching of the input to the main or standby output based on amplifier current monitoring via a 2x2 transfer switch. It operates from 850 to 2150 MHz and provides variable gain from 30 dB to 80 dB, adjustable in 1 dB steps.
This amplifier offers capacity for 3 active signal paths, as the main & stand-by signal paths have separate input & output ports (3 inputs and 3 outputs). It can be operated in 2 modes: Amplifier Tracking ON - Amplifier gain and slope control is common to all modules in the chassis and Amplifier Tracking OFF - Each amplifier can be independently set by operator selected slope and gain setting. The amplifier is available in a 1U high x 450 mm deep x 19î wide rack mountable chasis with SMA, N-type & BNC connectors and is suitable for use as an L-band LNA, UHF applications and general satcom applications.
