The STA4605 Series from Spacepath Communications are SATCOM Amplifier Systems that operate from 42.5 to 45.5 GHz with up to 2 GHz of bandwidth. They deliver a peak output power of 50 W with a gain of more than 70 dB and have a gain adjustment range of 30 dB in 0.1 dB steps. These systems incorporate a high-efficiency multi-collector TWT powered by an advanced power supply. They offer a comprehensive remote-control facility as standard, including RS485, RS232, and Ethernet interface options. The amplifier systems are available in weatherproof enclosures that measure 44 x 22 x 22 cm with WR-22 waveguide I/O interfaces. They have advanced packaging and cooling techniques which enable the units to operate in extreme environmental conditions from direct rain to direct sunlight.
The SATCOM amplifier systems require an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consume less than 3 A of current.
