The iNETVu Ka-74G from C-COM is a Driveaway Antenna that operates in the Ka-Band from 17.7 – 20.2 GHz (Rx) and 28.1 – 30 GHz (Tx). It has a 74 cm elliptical reflector and supports 3-axis motorization with an azimuth range of 360° and an elevation range from 0° to 90°. This satellite antenna system has an auto-switching circular polarization (RH or LH) and includes a button and auto-pointing controller which acquires a Ka-band satellite within 2 minutes. It can also be manually controlled when required and can be positioned to locate satellites using the most advanced satellite acquisition methods. The antenna works seamlessly with the iNETVu 7710 controller, providing fast satellite acquisition within minutes, anytime and anywhere.
The iNET Vu Ka-74G can work with commercial Ka-band modems and services. It has a VSWR of 1.3:1 and a cross-polarization of more than 23 dB. This antenna requires a DC supply of 24 V and consumes less than 8 A of current. It integrates a heavy-duty feed arm that is capable of supporting transceivers that weigh up to 5 kg (10 lbs). This SATCOM terminal is available in a housing that measures 185.5 x 112.0 x 68.5 cm with two RG6U coaxial cables (up to 10 m each). It can be mounted on the roof of a vehicle for broadband internet access over any configured satellite and is ideal for oil and gas exploration, disaster management, SNG, emergency communications backup, cellular backhaul, and military communication applications.
