The Lesa Blade Ku Aero from Get SAT is an Airborne SATCOM Antenna that operates from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz (Rx) and 13.75 to 14.5 GHz (Tx). This low-profile fully electronically steerable antenna (ESA) has no moving parts and is ideal for integration on any aviation platform. It is designed for in-flight connectivity with a short acquisition time and allows for high dynamic tracking. The antenna supports all airborne platform sizes including wide-body aircraft, executive aviation, rotary-wing operations, and basically any in-flight connectivity. It is available as two panels – Tx Panel that measure 33 x 28 cm and an Rx Panel that measures 44 x 46 cm.
The Lesa Blade Ku Aero includes an antenna management unit (AMU), tracking sensors, a downconverter, and a full RF front end for flexible installation options in different airborne applications. It supports multi-orbit, multi-constellation architectures that enable switching from GEO to LEO instantly, in flight. This antenna supports global coverage networks like Inmarsat Global Xpress, SES, and Intelsat, for seamless satellite coverage.
The Lesa Blade Ku Aero supports vertical/horizontal linear and circular (software-controlled) polarizations. It provides an azimuth coverage of 360° and an electronically steerable elevation coverage from 10° to 90°. This antenna has an initial acquisition time of less than 30 seconds and a re-acquisition time of better than 100 ms. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes 285 W of power. This antenna has an Ethernet interface for management and allows easy installation and integration of the terminals.
