The ThinSat 300 from ThinKom is a Phased Array Antenna that operates from 10.70 to 12.75 GHz (Rx) and 13.75 to 14.50 GHz (Tx). It is designed for high-speed SATCOM-on-the-Move applications and supports GSO constellation. This antenna provides an azimuth coverage of 360° and an elevation coverage from 10° to 90° with a beam agility of more than 300°/sec. It has an initial acquisition time of 60 seconds (cold start) and a re-acquisition time of less than 1 second. The antenna supports broadcast-quality streaming with data rates of up to 10 Mbps, provides an EIRP of 51 dBW and has a spectral efficiency of up to 2 bits/Hz. It has an integrated 25 W block upconverter (BUC). It is compatible with wide-beam and HTS Ku-band services and is qualified for operation on Intelsat Flex networks.
The ThinSat 300 is available in a low-profile enclosure that measures 59.0 x 39.0 x 4.3 inches and can be mounted on standard vehicle roof racks. It is suitable for use in broadcast media, homeland security, intelligence, surveillance, disaster recovery, emergency management and oil and gas applications. This phased array antenna requires an AC supply of 110/220V and consumes less than 600 W of power.
