The AT3UKAS from Actox is a GaN Universal Transceiver that operates from 17.20 – 22.20 GHz (Rx) and 27.5 – 31.0 GHz (Tx). It has an IF frequency of 950 – 1950 MHz and an LO (electronically and manually switchable) frequency from 16.25 to 29.05 GHz. In the Tx mode, it delivers an output power of 3 W with a gain of 63 dB with a phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz (at 1 MHz offset) and a spurious emission of -55 dBc. In the Rx chain, it provides a gain of 55 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.5 dB and provides an image rejection of 50 dB. This transceiver requires a DC supply from 22 to 55 V and consumes less than 48 W of power. It has an option for autosensing internal 10 MHz reference that allows it to be used with any modulator and receiver. The transceiver can be controlled via RS-232/RS-485 Ethernet interfaces. It is available in a module that measures 228.0 x 227.9 x 25.0 mm with SMA or 2.92 mm connectors.
