The DSG821 from RIGOL Technologies is a Benchtop RF Signal Generator that operates from 9 kHz to 2.1 GHz with a frequency resolution of 0.01 Hz. It performs step sweep (equally spaced level steps) & list sweep (list with arbitrary level steps) with a sweep time from 20 ms to 100 s. This signal generator supports complete AM/FM/ØM analog modulation functions and also includes standard LF output function, powerful pulse modulation function, open vector modulation function and system flatness calibration function. It has a phase noise of -112 dBc/Hz @ 20 kHz offset and harmonics of -30 dBc. The generator uses an electronic attenuator and has specially designed protection functions.
The DSG821 includes a 3.5-inch TFT LCD and can be controlled via USB 2.0 and Ethernet (RJ-45) interfaces. It is available in a benchtop enclosure that measures 261.5 x 112.0 x 318.4 mm with BNC-female connectors and is ideal for educational laboratories, industrial production lines, development and research applications. This signal generator requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes 50 W of power.
