The NDR374 from Epiq Solutions is a 4-Channel Software-Defined Radio (SDR) that operates from 2 MHz to 8 GHz. It is fully compliant with the latest SOSA and MORA 2.4 standards, ensuring high compatibility with a wide range of systems. This SDR has been seamlessly integrated into various types of chassis, allowing for rapid deployment and efficient support in time-sensitive situations.
The NDR374 SDR is based on a 3U open architecture supporting four DSP modes of operation and it integrates16-bit ADCs, Xilinx MPSoC, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 512 MB QSPI, and 8 GB eMMC memory, OCXO, VITA 46.11 IPMC, power converters, and a VITA backplane interface. It allows for both independent and phase-coherent tuning and 2 units can be combined to offer multi-channel coherent operation with time-tagged digital IF outputs (based on 1PPS input).
This SDR has high dynamic range 16-bit ADCs to digitize a 125 MHz wide IF signal at a sample rate of 368 MSPS. Digital tuners can be configured via the 1G/10G Ethernet interface, which is also used for transmitting and receiving commands. The dataplane digital IF output can simultaneously provide both full bandwidth digital IF data and multiple narrow bandwidth DDC outputs. This radio requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes 60 W of power. It is available in a single-slot 3U VPX enclosure making it ideal for mission-critical applications.
