The PSAX Modules from Virginia Diodes are Portable Spectrum Analyzer Extenders that operate from 50 to 170 GHz (higher frequency options available). These spectrum analyzer extenders are designed to connect directly to the RF ports on Keysight’s FieldFox analyzers and extend their performance over the operating frequency range. They can handle an input power from -10 dBm to +17 dBm and have a conversion loss of -8 dB with a noise figure of 12 dB.
The PSAX modules require a DC supply from 5.5 to 7.5 V and consume 600 mA of current. They are available as modules that measure 3.00 x 4.50 x 1.50 inches and have WR15/WR12/WR10/WR8.0/WR6.5 waveguide flanges.
