The RSWM-8X8LR from Becker RF is an 8x8 Switch Matrix that operates from 100 kHz to 4 GHz. It has eight inputs and eight outputs interconnected via a non-blocking matrix where a single input can route to multiple outputs simultaneously. This switch matrix has high channel isolation to ensure that signals in adjacent radio channels do not affect each other. It uses modern solid-state switching elements to ensure quick response to operating inputs and many switching cycles with minimum maintenance.
This 8x8 Non-Blocking switch matrix is ideal for use in GNSS, RF signal routing, satellite ground segment IF routing, infotainment test, research & development (R&D), and test and validation equipment.
The RSWM-8X8LR has a local MMI on the front panel and LAN / USB interfaces. Depending on the customer's needs, the system can be managed using the intuitive web-based graphical user interface or through SCPI-based ASCII commands via its interface ports. It is available in a 19-inch, 1U enclosure that measures 482 x 44 x 455 mm with N Type-female connectors. This switch matrix requires an AC supply from 90 to 260 V and consumes 100 W of power.
Similar to several other products from Becker RF, the RSWM-8X8LR includes a TRIGGER IO port. This physical interface enables the device to execute switching operations synchronously across multiple matrices, triggered by hardware signals.
