The B40 Series from Charter Engineering are SPDT Switches that operate from DC to 40 GHz. They have a switching speed of less than 20 ms and provide an isolation of more than 60 dB. These 50-ohm switches can handle a CW input power of up to 200 W and have an insertion loss of less than 0.6 dB. They have break-before-make contact and are available in the failsafe, latching, or momentary (normally open) configurations. The switches require a DC actuator supply of 12/15/24/28 V and also have an option for TTL logic which allows for a 5 V operation. They can withstand 1,000,000 cycles and have an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. These switches are available in modules that measure 1.80 x 1.34 x 0.52 inches with 2.92 mm connectors.
These switches are available with additional options such as indicators, suppression diodes, low intermodulation, and extended temperature range.
