The MM5620 from Menlo Micro is a Differential Dual DP3T Relay that operates from DC to 20 GHz. It is based on Menlo Micro’s 32 Gbps MM5600 DPDT switch and delivers up to 64 Gbps (64 GT/s) of high-quality data signal integrity. This relay fully integrates the switch driver and charge pump, along with loopback capacitors for significant board footprint reduction in high-volume production test solutions. It provides excellent level of parallel testing on space-constrained final tests and probe test for mobile phone, graphics, and network processors, as well as microprocessors and high-speed memory products. The relay requires a DC supply from 4.5 to 5.5 V and consumes less than 290 mA of current.
The MM5620 has a start-up time of 20 ms and an ultra-fast switching speed (less than 10 µs operation time and less than 2 µs release time). It includes a normally open reflective actuator and built-in AC coupling capacitors. This relay is based on Menlo’s Ideal Switch technology and provides low insertion loss, fast switching speed and can operate with greater than 3 billion switching cycles. It is available in an LGA package that measures 8.2 x 8.2 mm and can be controlled via SPI and GPIO interfaces.
The MM5620 is ideal for high-speed data digital component testing, ATE device interface boards, O/E module testing and differential switch matrices for automated test equipment, measurement equipment, semiconductor final package test and compliance and loopback test applications.
