The MM5622 from Menlo Micro is a Differential Dual DP3T Relay that operates from DC to 20 GHz. It is based on Menlo’s Ideal Switch® technology and can operate at 64 Gbps with a bandwidth of 20 GHz for high-performance applications. This relay fully integrates the switch driver and charge pump, along with decoupling capacitors for significant board footprint reduction in high-volume production test solutions. It provides an excellent level of parallel testing on space-constrained final tests and probe tests for mobile phones, graphics, and network processors, as well as microprocessors and high-speed memory products. This relay requires a DC supply from 4.75 to 5.5 V and consumes less than 290 mA of current.
The MM5622 has a start-up time of 20 ms and a switching speed of 26.5 μs(On) & 9 μs (Off). It includes a normally open reflective actuator and built-in AC coupling capacitors. This relay can operate with greater than 3 billion switching cycles and has fully controllable ports for low, medium, and high data rate signal routing. It is available in an LGA package that measures 8.2 x 8.2 mm and can be controlled via SPI and GPIO interfaces.
The MM5622 is ideal for high-speed data digital component testing, ATE device interface boards, O/E module testing, and differential switch matrices for automated test equipment, measurement equipment, semiconductor final package test and compliance, and loopback test applications.
