The USB-1SP4T-A673 from Mini-Circuits is an SP4T Solid-State Absorptive Switch that operates from 0.1 to 67 GHz. It has a switching speed of 2 ms and provides up to 55 dB of isolation. This switch can handle up to 26 dBm of input power and has an insertion loss of less than 9.8 dB. It has a daisy-chain control interface with “dynamic addressing” that simplifies control integration and allows up to 25 switches to be combined into a master/slave chain. The whole chain of up to 25 compatible switches can be controlled independently through a single USB and software interface. This switch requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 120 mA of current.
The USB-1SP4T-A673 is controlled via a USB interface and provides full software support, including a user-friendly GUI application for Windows and a full API with programming instructions for Windows and Linux environments (both 32-bit and 64-bit systems). It is available in a module that measures 132 x 25 x 22 mm with 1.85 mm (female) connectors and is ideal for mmWave RF signal routing/switching matrices, SATCOM, military, radio, radar, electronic warfare, cellular, and test & measurement applications.
