The PE42445 from pSemi is an SP4T RF Switch that operates from 10 MHz to 8.5 GHz. It provides an isolation of more than 52 dB and has an insertion loss of less than 1 dB. This switch consists of four symmetric RF ports with very high isolation and has a switching time of 200 ns. It is manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS process, a patented variation of Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology, and delivers the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS. This SP4T switch uses enhancements in pSemi’s HaRP technology to deliver high isolation, linearity, and excellent harmonic performance over the operating band. It requires a DC supply from 2.3 to 5.5 V.
The PE42445 is available in a land grid array (LGA) package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for DPD feedback loop, VSWR monitoring, 4G/4.5G TD-LTE macro/micro-cell/RRH, analog/hybrid beamforming RF front-ends, and 5G massive MIMO active antenna applications.
