The MT8870A from Anritsu is a Universal Wireless Test Set specifically designed for the high volume manufacturing test of cellular and wireless connectivity systems. This wireless test set operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. It has 160 MHz measurement bandwidth for WLAN 802.11ac and supports multiple wireless standards including 5G NR sub-6GHz, LTE, TD-SCDMA, GNSS, ZigBee and Bluetooth.
The system consists of four separate Test Modules each capable of independent control by an external PC. Each module has an integrated Vector Signal Generator and Vector Signal Analyzer to perform both transmitter and receiver RF tests. The modules can be used simultaneously to measure multiple wireless standards.
Each test module shares the same power supply, chassis, and internal bus interface. This device also has a built-in audio analyzer and audio generator.
