The CMW270 from Rohde & Schwarz is a wireless connectivity tester that supports Wi-Fi (Including Wi-Fi 6/6E), Bluetooth, and broadcast technologies. The tester is ideal for testing integrated wireless communications solutions in laptops, netbooks, game consoles, data cards, wireless headsets, and other products of the IoT market. The R&S CMW270 provides network emulation (signaling mode) for WLAN and Bluetooth as well as generator and analyzer functionality for standards such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GNSS and broadcast technologies.
The CMW270 can emulate Bluetooth connections (master/salve and central/peripheral respectively) and WLAN access points and stations (clients). It supports all RF test cases for prequalification of Bluetooth basic rate (BR), enhanced data rate (EDR) and Bluetooth low energy (BLE). This tester supports WLAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax signaling tests in SISO and MIMO operations with up to 160 MHz bandwidth.
This tester provides an all-in-one experience with support for all layers, from RF to protocol to IP applications, in a single instrument. It covers all test requirements from development to certification and network optimization to production and service. This test platform can be used to perform, document, and evaluate complex user experience tests under simulated conditions. The CMW270 also offers an efficient test environment for executing complex IP application tests for various technologies.
